There was nothing boring about the church at Corinth. Hollywood executives would salivate over making a movie about this church. What went on there would make for great reality TV, too. One could almost call the Corinthian church the "drama queen of the New Testament." At the same time, some of the most interesting and richest teaching of Christian doctrine and practical Christian living is found in 1 Corinthians, and perhaps no part of the book is more interesting from that perspective than chapters 12-14, which deal with spiritual gifts.
