Becoming a Member at Evident Church

We believe that joining a church family goes beyond just observing. It should be going all in for Christ by partnering in the gospel (Philippians 1:4-6) to fulfill the mission that God has for us in this community together. At Evident Church, our members FIGHT for unity, PRAY for the church and our community, and SERVE by joining our mission of leading people to follow Jesus.

A CRASH COURSE IN OUR CULTURE AND BELIEFS!

Step 1: Complete Crash Course 1-4
CC1 & CC2 are designed to help you understand what makes us tick and give you the tools you need to grow in your relationship with Christ. CC3 & CC4 are designed to help you better learn your strengths and challenge you to start using them.

Step 2: Fill out the Partnership Agreement
The Partnership Agreement gives you a chance to look over our core beliefs as well as share more of your story with us.

Step 3: Welcome Lunch and Ceremony
Share a lunch with some of our key leaders and elders as we continue to get to know each other better as well as take a moment to celebrate your decision in one of our services to pray with you as a church family as we, together, lead people to follow Jesus.

  • We are not meant to do this alone (Hebrews 10:24-25). In CC1, we want to get you connected to community that is connected to Christ so that we can continue to grow together.

  • Following Jesus isn’t just one moment, but a lifetime of pursuit that becomes a lifestyle (Luke 9:23). In CC2, we will give you the resources you need to grow in your relationship with Christ.

  • We are called to be so much more than just spectators of God and His word (James 1:22). In CC3 we will help you discover how your design reveals your purpose in life and your best fit in ministry.

  • In the words of Paul, “Follow me as I follow Christ.” (I Corinthians 11:1). Our mission is leading people to follow Jesus, and in CC4, we want to help you unpack what that means in your life so we can help unleash you to have the biggest impact for the kingdom you can have.

  • These can be taken in any order you choose. However, we HIGHLY recommend taking them in order 1-4.

  • No, this is offered free of charge.

    With that said, Pastor GJ won’t turn down a Spicy Chicken Sandwich from Popeyes…

  • Step 1: Take all four Crash Courses.

    Step 2: Fill out the Partnership Agreement (link found below).

    Step 3: Elder Interview – a chance for you to get to know some of our elders as well as a chance for us to get to know you better.

    Step 4: Celebrate! Being part of a church family is exciting!
