1 Corinthians 1:1-3 | Called Together to be Saints

Times of confusion and chaos demand and great clarity and courage. God’s letter to the Corinthian church contains a frank discussion a number of different issues related to both life and doctrine: divisions and quarrels, sexual immorality, lawsuits among believers, marriage and singleness, freedom in Christ, order in worship, the significance of the Lord’s Supper, the right use of spiritual gifts, and the crucial place of the resurrection. This great letter provides clarity for us today as followers of Jesus of God’s righteous expectations of us and what it means to be a people called to follow Christ in a world of compromise.

1 Corinthians 1:10 “Now I urge you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree in what you say, that there be no divisions among you, and that you be united with the same understanding and the same conviction.”
