1 Corinthians 14:26-40 | The Proper Use of the Gifts

Few subjects can be more controversial than the subjects found in 1 Corinthians 14. Since 1 Corinthians chapter 11, Paul has been talking about life within the body of Christ, the church. He has been particularly interested in the proper order of Christian worship. The bottom line is that every gift must be exercised in a way that is fitting and orderly. God brings order out of chaos. This includes important distinctions in God’s roles and design for men and women.
