1 Corinthians 15:12-34 | The Resurrection of the Dead

Why is it that Christians who truly understand their faith dogmatically assert that Christianity cannot be lumped in with any other religion in the world? Why is it that one who truly understands Christianity dogmatically asserts that Christianity is not even a religion? What makes our faith so different and so distinct is not just the teaching of Jesus, or the life of Jesus, or even the death of Jesus. What makes Christianity so different can be traced to a simple moment in time—maybe even less than a moment. This was something that had never happened before in history and has never happened since: a man was permanently and eternally raised from the dead, having received a body that could never die. In that moment, Jesus Christ was resurrected from the dead in an incorruptible, immortal, eternal, heavenly body. On that rock lies the foundation of Christianity.
