Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. This couldn’t be more true than when we’re talking about idolatry. As we continue in our series in 1 Corinthians, Paul gives us history lesson and warnings so that we won’t fall into the same trap as the people of God of the past. The message and warning to us is this — idolatry in any form is deadly, because it puts you at odds with God.
