Apathy is perhaps the most dangerous force in our day. Many do not have hope, do not have purpose, and simply do not care. This was the dangerous condition of the church at Laodicea. They had everything they needed from a worldly standpoint yet they were still empty. Jesus challenged them to make a decision. Either live for Christ or live for the world. We can’t do both. We must choose. He is calling us today to make the same choice. Which will it be - Jesus or the world?
