A proper understanding of who we are begins with understanding who God is and how we relate to Him. As we consider Psalm 8, we can praise God for His majestic nature and character revealed to us in creation and in His Word. We can praise God for how we have experienced His awesome power and glory in our own lives. We can surrender ourselves to the reality of our utter dependence upon God in order to have life, new life in Christ, and a life full of glory and honor. Finally, we can seek Him for wisdom and strength to do the work He has called us to do in a way that represents Him well.
