I’m so thankful for the way you’ve responded as a church over the past few months. Your
joy, generosity, fight, and faith have been amazing. This season has reminded us the
church is not a building, it’s the people. We haven’t been closed, we’ve been been sent.
As we look toward gathering again, here are a few things I want to communicate:
1) Serving Jesus.
2) Serving each other.
3) Serving our community.
OUR GOALS & OBJECTIVES
1) To do this in a way that is inclusive and not exclusive.
2) To do this in a way that integrates wise counsel and Biblical faith.
3) To do this in a way that brings glory to Jesus and shows grace toward others.
4) To do this in a way that seeks to promote faith over fear.
Recognizing people are at various comfort levels, our plan is to offer one Sunday morning
worship experience at 10am, with four different engagement options.
1) Online - we will continue to offer the same, high quality, high engagement, online
worship experience that we have been during shelter-in-place. This has become a key
part of our ministry and it will continue (Facebook & YouTube).
2) Drive-In-Church - beginning Sunday, June 7, we will offer drive-in-church as a way to
engage with one another from the safety of your car. The worship experience will take
place live in the auditorium and can be streamed live from your car on any personal
device (phone, tablet, etc.).
3) Barn - beginning Sunday, June 14, we will offer open seating in the barn. The worship
experience will take place live in the auditorium and will be projected live onto a screen
with speakers for viewing in the barn. Services will be family style with family units
encouraged to sit together. This will give more space for physical distancing in more of
an open air environment.
4) Auditorium - beginning Sunday, June 21, we will provide limited seating in our
auditorium. Space will be adjusted to encourage physical distancing.
Will restrooms be available?
Yes, restrooms will be available for people to use in the church building.
Will offering be collected?
We have four convenient giving options:
2) Text to Give (text any amount to 84321)
3) Church Center App
4) Envelope (mailed in or given in a drop box Sunday mornings).
How will spaces be prepped and kept clean to keep everyone safe?
Before we begin to gather, the building will be cleaned and sanitized with an industrial
cleaner. Surfaces will be regularly disinfected. Hand sanitizer or hand sanitation stations
will be available throughout our the building. Anyone with symptoms will be asked to
choose one of our safer engagement options.
Will people be required to wear masks and physical distance?
The decision to wear a mask will be left up to each individual. Physical distancing will be
encouraged but left up to each individual. We ask everyone to be sensitive and respectful
of each others comfort level.
Will there be kids ministry?
All of our kids ministry will continue to take place online via digital resources and weekly
live Zoom calls. Our Sunday mornings experience will be family style for now, which means
families are encourage to participate and worship together.
What about other ministries?
Each ministry will be evaluated on a case by case basis to see what is the best and most
appropriate way to serve the church. Information about each ministry can be found on our
website and social media platforms.
How long will we meet this way?
We are continually monitoring and evaluating the situation. We anticipating gathering this
way throughout the summer and we will re-evaluate as we approach the fall. However,
plans may be modified based on any changing needs and circumstances.
Please let us know if you have any needs or questions at all.
God is doing great things. We are excited to see the church of Jesus thrive regardless of
the season and we believe greater things are yet to come!
With Love and Great Anticipation,
